The Decant

‘Decanting’ is the term used to describe the process where one or more tenants of Tamworth Borough Council, will lose their home permanently due to the demolition, decommissioning, redevelopment, re-designation of, or similar works to, that dwelling as part of the Council’s plans for Regeneration of the Tinkers Green and Kerria Areas.

Our Decant Policy

The Decant Plan – Timeline of decant arrangements.

The below decant plan and timetable is to provide a managed process for the decanting of tenants, offering alternative accommodation (in line with the Allocations Policy) as well as compensating for expenses incurred, in line with legal requirements and existing best practice.

Phase Timeline
